Malpractice
Center
Medical malpractice is professional negligence by a healthcare
provider in which the treatment provided falls below the
proper standard of practice in the healthcare community.
In these cases, this neglect causes injury or death to the
patient. Doctors are the third leading cause of death in
the United States behind heart disease and cancer, and
currently it is estimated that in the U.S. alone over 200,000
people die each year from medical negligence. Our team
believes that every individual who has experienced this
neglect should have access to the best information and support
available.
Medical
Malpractice Help
Over 200,000 people die each year in the United States from
negligence, medical malpractice and patient abandonment.
Most people only have a basic understanding of what medical
malpractice actually is and we would like to clear up the
confusion.
Memory
Care Home Solutions
Memory Care Home Solutions is a not –for-profit
organization that exists to extend and improve quality time
at home for families caring for a loved one with memory

Health, Memory Care Home Solutions fills an in-home support
and training void for caregivers. A Memory Care professional
trains the family and professional caregiver team regarding
safety of the living environment and provides strategies for
addressing behavioral, independence and caregiver
stress-related issues. Follow-up conferences and visits from
Memory Care staff extend the service over the continuing
years of the patient’s time at home. Washington University
in St. Louis collaborates with the organization to evaluate
outcome success. No diagnosis is necessary and services are
made available regardless of inability to pay through
individual donations and grant funding. For more

1844
Concord School Log Cabin Historical Society
The Society was established to restore and preserve
the 1844 Concord School one-room log cabin school accidently
discovered, inside the 1872 Peter Deitrich farmhouse
destined for demolition in Concord Village, south St. Louis
County. Pre-Civil War log cabin schools had
"boards-painted-black" not slate, ie. blackboards.
Few exist today, since they were often left to ruin
when communities upgraded log buildings to frame or brick.
Dietrich recycled the 1844 log cabin school by building his
1872 farmhouse around it, where it remained preserved
for 131 years. The 1820 Ebenezer Academy in Statesville, NC
is the oldest surviving one-room log cabin in the US, with
Concord School being second.
